Located at Indianapolis International Airport, a 1.6-million-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility comprises 12 bays specially designed to reduce maintenance cycle times and keep aircraft in service longer. Five of ten temperature-regulated hangar bays utilize innovative permanent dock structures that make aircraft maintenance more efficient, providing easy access to all parts of the aircraft.

Originally opened as the United Airlines Maintenance Center on March 7, 1994, it was abandoned by that airline after its 2003 bankruptcy and is now being leased by the Indianapolis Airport Authority to at least 13 different companies performing a wide variety of tasks. AAR Corporation is currently the major tenant, doing the same kind of airframe and power plant maintenance the facility was originally designed to facilitate.
