Located at the corner of South Center and Longfellow Lane, Swinford Park was founded in 1968 and encompasses 25 acres near Plainfield High School. Swinford Park was named for Carlos "Red" Swinford, the town's first fire chief.

Like Franklin Park, Swinford features a private playground for children under six. The Plainfield Girls Softball Associations plays its games at Swinford Park.
