This is the largest of Alton Town Council's areas - 32 acres of grass. It is used for a variety of functions, as well as recognised sports fixtures. These include fetes, car boot sales, firework displays, fun runs, rounders, etc. The park includes a Cricket Pitch, 4 Rugby Pitches, a Rugby Training Area (the floodlights used for rugby training were provided by the Alton Rugby Club who pay an annual sum to the Town Council for this facility), 2 Tennis Courts/Netball Courts, 1 Football Ground Enclosure, skateboarding facilities and Finnimore Sports Pavilion.
