Approximate boundaries within the sub-civil parish of Four Marks which owes its separate identity to a railway station on the largely visitor (not greatly commuter) steam train line, the Watercress Line. It includes the hamlet of Hawthorn in the south-east near to an area of forest which is in the South Downs National Park.
