White Lake Water Drop Zone is a natural lake in NC - This Lake is also used by the men and women of US Army Special Operations stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. We use this lake to perform deliberate water jumps. We us the FFA Center as our Landing zone for our UH-60 Blackhawk. In the enclosed video the aircraft seen is the CASA 212. When this aircraft is used we stage from Curtis L Brown Jr Field.

  • Famous for its clear water.
  • One of several "Carolina Bays" in the area. Note the oval shape with the log axis running NW to SE. Several of these shallow lakes have become filled in with sediment over the centuries.
