  • A hauntingly beautiful place and reminder of things past. I once flew a Tiger Moth out of here. It is like a World War I aerodrome, no runways, just a big grass field, and you take the longest run into wind. Base to several vintage biplanes and a Pitts or two. Many of these are owned by airline pilots who just love real flying.
  • Correction: I see they have runways now. Too bad. Thirty years ago they didn't :)
