ruins, dam, mill, interesting place
Rumored to be the first masonry dam built in Vermont (circa 1820), it was built to create a head-water to run the grist mill owned by Gershom Tuttle. A little down stream there is the remnants of the old crib dam that preceded it (circa 1780) as well as the foundation of the mill itself.
