From 1904 to 1985 this complex of buildings was home to the Pacific Press, a Seventh Day Adventist publishing company. The press was Mountain View's first major industry and attracted dozens of Seventh Day Adventist residents to the area who built up the neighborhood to the south. In the 1980s the Pacific Press moved to Idaho, and its buildings were renovated for use as an office complex.
