Former 1950s era shopping center that was anchored by a Lucky Supermarket and several small shop buildings. It remained as such for many years, until the supermarket format changed and the Alma Plaza Lucky became too small for their current needs. In the late 90s, Lucky presented plans to demolish and replace the store with a larger building on the property.
It was met with opposition from the community, so the older store remained. Albertsons completed the purchase of the Lucky chain in 1999 and eventually closed the Alma Plaza store, leaving the building to sit for years while plans for it's redevelopment were made. The entire center was demolished and in it's place will be residential and retail spaces along Alma.
