The one thing I know about this town from my youth was that it was almost wiped out by a tornado.

  • The tornado[s] spawned in 1977, as I recall. Magnolia, Woodside, and Hartly were hit the hardest. It destroyed 5 trailers in Woodside alone. There were reports of multiple tornado funnels, up to 7 by eyewitnesses. There were actually only 3 recorded.
