Officially part of the Hartlen Point Golf Course, but it was used to spot U-boats or other Nazi naval vessels. It has a 4-room basement/bunker under it.

The hill it's on is called Flandrum Hill.

  • Flandrum hill is actually located in cow bay,off off the dyke rd.It to had a victoria fortress observation post that had been demolished sometime during 1990,This look out tower part of Devils battary was actually one story shorter,..Two other observation posts were errected and demolished over the years,.One at Osborne head Cow Bay,.and The other atop the Hill on Caldwell Rd/Biarwood East Passage.
