Original location recorded in November, 1934. Development consists of an inclined shaft to a depth of 45 feet. Milled ore is reported to have averaged $40 per ton in gold. The mine was owned by the Hulsey family of Indio who performed the required assessment until 1971 when the property was acquired by the NPS.
