Ancestral Puebloan (aka Rio Grande Anasazi) pueblo ruin. Occupied c. 1348-1550. Claimed as an ancestral site by the Tewa people. Also called Potsuwi’onwikeji; Otowi. Per Hewett, Antiquities of the Jemez Plateau, New Mexico, 1906, cliff dwellings can be found in every direction from this pueblo (outside current map polygon). New Mexico Laboratory of Anthropology site number LA 169.
