The first church with monastery buildings were build in 16-17th century. After 1710 fire this church was built during 1715-1721. It gained late baroque style after 1750-1760 reconstruction. 1The church was closed by Russian government in 1832. In 1849 the church was reconstructed into ortodox St. Joseph church. After WWI the church was returned to catholics and was fixed. Soviet government closed the church in 1948. Since 1992 the church belongs to Vilniaus archbishopship.
