4-story Italianate office building completed in 1876. Designed by John B. Snook as a French flats apartment building and a brewery. In 1900-01 interior alterations were made "for stores, light storage and manufacturing," and a new storefront was installed. A rear extension was constructed in 1926. Until the 1970s, tenants have been primarily meat, poultry, and dairy merchants. Above the large cast-iron storefront, the facade is faced in beige cement stucco with segmental-arched lintels over the windows. The building is crowned by a bracketed metal cornice. The ground floor is occupied by Simyone Lounge.
