Built in 2006, the Saltire Centre is the library for the Glasgow Caledonian University. The ground floor includes a small cafe and large open spaces as well as some retractable shelving. The Second floor features the main bank of computers within the library while the 4th floor is the silent study zone, with no computers.

There are balconies connecting the Hamish Wood and George Moore buildings to the library on the 1st and 4th floors.
