One of the oldest communities in Arlington, dating from about 1750. West end of Rosslyn-Ballston development corridor. Contains Metrorail station (Orange Line), access to I-66, Ballston Common shopping mall and Marymount University. Mixed-use development, predominantly high-rise office and apartment buildings.

  • It used to be called Parkington in the 50's-60's & 70's after the shopping mall there anchored by the Hecht Company.
