Prairieland Park (Saskatoon)

Canada / Saskatchewan / Saskatoon
fair, conference centre, commerce, exhibition centre

The fine tradition of the "Saskatoon Exhibition" dates back to 1886, when the city's first agriculture exhibition was held on the Broadway Area "Louise Grounds". The event was first moved to City Park (now Kinsmen Park), then moved to this location in 1910 when the City purchased eighty acres of land for this purpose.

Saskatoon's exhibition grounds hosts all kinds of trade shows, conferences, special events, industry expositions and concerts. Annual events include the Saskatoon Exhibition, one the city's major summer events, attracting thousands of people who enjoy everything from amusement rides to agriculture displays reminiscent of the original exhibition. Homestyles, Gardenscape, and various agricultural-themed trade shows are other major events.

The Trade Centre at Prairieland Park has 180,000 square feet of floor space.
