The Willows (Saskatoon)

Canada / Saskatchewan / Saskatoon
golf course, subdivision (housing subdivision), neighbourhood, invisible

The Willows began as a golf course outside Saskatoon's city limits. As the city expanded, the land was annexed from the R.M. of Corman Park and became a neighbourhood within the city's boundaries. Residential development was started in 2003. Dundee Development Corp. (now Dream Development) bought a 50% stake in the golf course in 2006, and the remaining 50% in 2010.

The Willows Golf & Country Club features a 27 hole public golf course, as well as a clubhouse with restaurant, meeting and banquet facilities. The courses include 14 beautiful lakes, 144 sand traps and the course's signature hole, Island Green. Residential areas lie adjacent to the golf course.

The course was originally 36 holes, but in 2016, nine holes were closed permanently.
