The heart of Meadville is Diamond Park, a small-town park that forms a one-way circle of traffic that runs counter-clockwise. Diamond Park is home to several important aspects of Meadville including the County Court House, the former Meadville Junior High School, and several historic churches. Diamond Park is also home to an annual Memorial Day Ceremony, and is the final destination for many of Meadville's Parades. Diamond Park also has several statues and Monuments in it as well.

As a side note of culture within the town, it is a common occurence among many young people in the summertime to "cruise the diamond" on friday and saturday nights. This usually entails young auto enthusiasts and bored teenagers alike parking around the diamond or cruising around it and through town after nightfall in their cars and trucks. According to older residents, this has been occuring since the 1950's.

Diamond Park has an unusually high number of churches surrounding it, with four immediately off of the diamond and over ten within 1/8 of a mile. This led one passer-by to remark that "This town must have many sins to atone for".
