British Army captured this machi area and started bombing on the Balekilla with their huge cannons. However the spirit of Governer Ketkar of Malanggad and the huge volcano generated rocks of Malanggad did not deter and surrender.

Nana Phadanvis sent extra Peshwa army for help from Panvel and British army had to leave Peer Machi.
