This 1889 Gothic style structure replaced an earlier church on the site and was built to serve the growing Polish community. It has since been closed by the Franciscan Friars, with many of the parish buildings surrounding the historic (and protected) sanctuary structure demolished and replaced with new upscale condominiums. The building is apparently for sale to be re-purposed.
