Manatees congregate at the warm water outlets of the Riviera Beach power plant. If you go there to see them; please don't mess with them. They've got to deal with all sorts of potentially deadly things like pollution (our fault) and boat props (our fault), so just enjoy their graceful and gentle lumpness!

  • Even at a great distance they are beautiful creatures.
  • Yes they are wonderful and gentle. What I find disturbing is looking at the boats to the right making wakes in a no wake Manatee zone to the right.
