S-154 Dam

Structure 154 Dam is on the Local Drainage Canal River in Okeechobee County, Florida and is used for flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1965, and it is owned by Sputh Florida Water Management District. Structure 154 is of earthen construction, and its length is 215 feet. Maximum discharge is 1000 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 500 acre feet. Normal storage is 200 acre feet.
