This building is a former elementary school (Blair Elementary) that was converted into a homeless shelter and clinic operated by the District of Columbia. The Blair Transitional and Rehabilitation Program provides 24-hour residential services to homeless men who are ready to make a change in their lives. Services include substance abuse counseling, case management, employment and housing placement assistance, and meals. The length of the program is 6-9 months, and it is designed to help the men move to independence and self-sufficiency. Open 24/7. God bless them.
