Officially opened in 1980, the Museum of Asian Art is home to over 2,000 pieces of ceramics from Malaysia, Thailand, Khmer, Vietnam, China, Japan, India and Iran.

The three-storey building situated between the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economics and Administration, the Museum is renowned for housing the largest collection of kendi (water vessels) in the world, as well as stone carvings and Islamic art collections from other Asian countries. The exhibits also include weaved materials and paintings by local artists, copperware, weapons and kites.
