One of the more pleasant parts of Stevenage. A good selection of small privately owned shops and 3 dentists within 2 minutes from each other! There's a Waitrose and a few nice places to eat.

  • The high street used to form part of the old Great North Road and was home to a lot of coaching houses. Apart from the aptly named coach and horses, you can see a lot of them still standing even if they are no longer inns. The tall gates to the old courtyards and stables are the giveaway.
