  Bedwell is the shit tip of Stevenage. If you live in Bedwell the chances are you have some kind of criminal record. DO NOT come to Bedwell unless you have a stab vest!

  Bedwell isn't as bad as people think. It's an up-and-coming area that has seen some investment in recent years - -for example knocking down the old abandoned 'GP' petrol station and building sheltered accommodation. People are getting extensions on their houses and paving their driveways and the streets are clean. Of course some streets will always be dodgy. As a general rule of thumb, North of Six Hills Way (Bedwell Crescent, Homestead Moat, Poachers Pub) is far, far nicer than south of Six Hills (Rockingham Way, Twin Foxes Pub are both very dodgy areas.
