The school is named after the nearby Wem Brook, a tributary of the Anker which forms the traditional parish boundary between Attleborough and Chilvers Coton. Until the major Warwickshire schools reorganisation of 1996, the school was known as Swinnerton Middle School (for 8- to 12-year-olds), and before that (pre-1970s) Swinnerton High School (for secondary-age pupils), the headteacher is Mr Simon Pearson.

  • i would also like to add to that that if anyone who has children who need schooling wembrook is the place to go for very good teaching and there is also extra curiculm for anyone who likes clubs i.e football cricket and library
