Chilvers Coton (Nuneaton)

United Kingdom / England / Nuneaton
 suburb, parish, invisible

Chilvers Coton is an area of Nuneaton, located south of the town centre. The area was administered separately from Nuneaton until 1893, when it was merged with its larger neighbour to form Nuneaton & Chilvers Coton urban sanitary district (later to become Nuneaton urban district and, in 1907, Nuneaton municipal borough).

The ecclesiastical parish of Chilvers Coton includes the Arbury estate, where Victorian writer George Eliot (real name Mary Ann Evans) was born in 1819.

Prior to the Beeching Axe, the area was home to Chilvers Coton station, one of four railway stations in Nuneaton.
