One of the oldest surviving courthouses in the United States and is a registered National Historic Landmark Site. It was also Delaware's first statehouse and meeting place of Delaware's colonial first State Assembly. Used as the center for the 12 Mile Circle defining the boundary between Delaware and Pennsylvania.
