S-70 Dam

Structure 70 Dam is on the C-41 (Harney Pond Canal) River in Glades County, Florida and is used for flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1961, and is owned by South Florida Water Management District (Past C&SF Flood Control District). Structure 70 is of earthen construction, and its length is 150 feet. Maximum discharge is 5000 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 2780 acre feet. Normal storage is 2312 acre feet.
