The house was owned by Gustav Dietrich who bequeathed it to the foundation of the same name.
On August 24, 1929, the Evangelical Church opened the Christian Guest House (Christlisches Hospitz), known as the Dietrich House. In 1939 it was considered a category I hotel, it closes after the war.
In 1937, the bust of Schiller, brought from ASTRA Park, made in 1905 by Thomas Khuen, is placed in a semicircular niche.
