Royal Victoria Park (Bath)

The Park was formed in 1829 and formally opened in 1830. It was named after the 11 year old Princess Victoria, (the first ever park to carry her name) visiting Bath at the time. Royal Victoria Park was privately run until 1921 when it was taken over by the Bath Corporation.
