Installed in 1963.

Located just inside the security fence on the north side of the access road is the cathodic protection rectifier, an electronic device designed to protect underground features such as fuel tanks from corrosion. The aboveground portion of the rectifier consists of a white-painted steel electrical box mounted on a wood pole. The belowground portion consists of a well approximately 220 feet deep, containing eleven graphite anodes.
