  • The place was referred as Teacher's colony, but as per records it is LIG Colony (low Income group).. as Teachers wer grouped as low income govt employes in 70's this plot was alloted mostly to them along with other Low income group ppl of Pollachi municipality and PWD. Behind this street is Venkatachalapuram and newly arousing Somasundarapuram
  • a nice calm place.not only teachers live here also many from tnstc ltd and eb live here.
