Janus Lofts is the redevelopment of a five-story historic warehouse within the Wholesale District of downtown Indianapolis into 23 loft-style apartments. Formerly Klipp Bros Wholesale. Kipp Bros was one of the last remaining wholesalers in the Wholesale District until it moved to the outskirts of the city in 2000. The firm has been in the toy and novelty wholesale business since its founding in 1880 by German immigrant brothers Robert and Albrecht Kipp.
