Very good attractive place. A place with clam and quiet atmosphere. The famous Perunthachan's Uliyannoor temple make the village attractive to tourists.Uliyannore ( Uliyannoor ) is a piece of land on the banks of the Periyar or Aluva puzha (Aluvappuzha) near Aluva. Perumthachan, the son of the renowned scholar Vararuchi, who was patronized by King Vikramaditya, is associated with Uliyannore ( Uliyannoor ) . It is believed that the famous Shiva temple at Uliyannore ( Uliyannoor ) was built by Perumthachan ( Perum Thachan or Perunthachan ) who belonged to this place. Even today there are a few families who claim to be the descendants of this architectural genius.
