Potter's section Oakland Cemetery. Burial site for the indigent and homeless for many years. If you bought the farm in Atlanta and your family could not afford a burial, or if you were a John Doe that nobody claimed, they would simply bring your corpse out here, dig a hole, plop you in, and that was it. Nobody is sure just how many folks are in this section as it was in use up until fairly recently.
