Railway station for Stansted is located beneath the terminal, but you can see the end of the platforms on the southern side. The station has 3 bay platforms, and is used by West Anglia services provided by 'one', including the Stansted Express to London Liverpool Street. CrossCountry run the line to Birmingham via Cambridge, Peterborough and Leicester from here which was previously operated by Central Trains. The station is on a small stub off the West Anglia main line built in the 1980s using part of a disused trackbed.
