The picture shown is not the Warsak Dam. My father built the powerhouse generating station at the Warsak Dam and I lived in Warsak during its construction from 1958 to 1962. The Warsak Dam is located in very rugged terrain in the mountains of Norther Pakistan on the Kabul River. The construction of the dam created a large lake behind the dam. zizianrichard@aol.com |
