road, bridge
The new Blenheim Road bridge, now in service, can be seen being built. It was built for two reasons:
1. To make a direct connection between Blenheim Road and Moorhouse Avenue (thus Ferry Road and the beach)
2. Because the old bridge was "becoming too weak".
