The Village of Tombovo which is within the Penampang District extends from the built-up area of the State's Zoo (at a place referred to as Quarters No. 3 during the Lokawi Rubber Estate's time - Kongsih Tiga) to the Army Ammunition Depot, from Diposu to the Army Barracks.

It incorporates all the low-lying areas and the Dasangan Hills having a common boundary with Maang Village at the ridge, and also the Kapok and Mingkakui valleys. The low lands were formerly planted with wet rice once a year.

Stations of the Cross had been erected up Dasangan Hills by the Catholics of Tombovo.

Tombovo also incorporates the village of Kapazan which can be considered as the centre of village activities.
