Taman Ketiau or Ketiau Garden is situated within the vicinity of the village of Tombovo in the District of Penampang. In fact, this area is called Bokuk by the Kadazans whose ancestors lived here from time immemorial. Ketiau or Kotizou as the Kadazans called it, is located somewhere near the main road that leads to Putatan Town. This housing area was reclaimed from a swamp land, reputedly infested by fierce crocodiles in the past.
