FROM A SIMPLE SCHOOL IN 1960'S lvm has become a landmark school in mahim where teaching standard is simply excellent - thanks to the efforts of its principal smt priyanvada manohar the school is achieveing high academic heights day by day.

The school was founded by Smt. Manohar with the sole intention of giving quality education to people. She herself is a Sanskrit pandit amongst other things. Her rich tradition of education is carried forward by Dr. Sharmada Nerlekar...

  • I enrolled in the 6th standard at Lokmanya Vidyamandir on March 4th, 1957. I think that was the first year the school came to exist. I left the school on March 31, 1961 after completing my SSC examinations. The school was located at Bhandar Galli, Lady Jamshedji Road, Mahim. How the time has gone but I still have fond memories of the school and the Headmaster Dr. P. Manohar. I am not sure if any of my school mates still follow LVM news but I do. Thanks LVM, you are the best! Dr. Deepak Digamber Ekbote
  • Sorry I meant May 31, 1961 when I left LVM....Deepak
