Shah-Abdol-Azim shrine (Persian: شاه عبدالعظیم) is the burial place of Shah-Abdol-Azim, a descendant of Imam Hasan who was martyred in the 9th century, in Ray, Iran.
Beside this ,there is tomb of "Imam Zadeh- Hamzeh"- brother of "Imam Reza (AS)" in Mashhad, "Imam Zadeh Taher" a descendant of Imam "Zein-al-Abedin"-Fourth Imam of Shiite.
In the premises of this shrine some public figures such as "Sattar-Khan"- a rioter stood up against Qajar Dynasty with "Baqer-khan" from Tabriz, Ayatollah Seyyed "Mahmoud Kashani"- a campaigner and leader of 1320's movement and ally of Mosadeq, "Mohammad Reza Teyyeb"- grandfather of Mohsen Rezaie, writer, literary man and master of Tehran University "Abbas Eqbal Ashtiani", interpreter of Quran "Abu-al Fotoh Razi", Chancellor of Qajar dynasty "Qaem-Maqam Farahani", Father-and Mother in law of ayatollah "Khomeini", ayatollah "Falsafi", "Davod Maqami" - a singer before 1979 Revolution, "Vahid Dastgerdi" president of Iran's Red Crescent "Reza-khan" king of Pahlavi and rumour has it "Naser-ad-in-Shah"- a king of Qajar dynasty , some Shahs of Safavid dynasty and their ,fathers,grandfathers have been buried there;but their graves have been wrecked by the time.

  • Around this mausoleum, many important Iranian figures (such as Sattar Khan) are buried.
  • And the tomb of Reza Shah the Great was destroyed by a bunch of dirty Arab lovers. Marg bar Jomhoorie Eshali !

  • The mausoleum of Reza Shah was destroyed during the second arabic invasion in 1979, but it will be rebuilt some day.
