Concrete pads used by the US Navy to store barrels of fuel oil during the Korean and VietNam wars. Last used by the government for barrel storage in the early 1970's. Later leased to the Pacific Locomotive Association, Inc. for the storage and display of their collection of historic railroad equipment. The PLA moved to Niles Canyon near Fremont in 1985.
