One of the oldest housing socities built in 1977-79 even before Juhu versova link road ever exsisted and before there was any development in 4 bunglows or Lokhanwala. Consisting of 4 bldgs with 80 flats. A very cosmopolitan society with people from all walks of life. Silver beach is a 15 - 20 mins walk. Love the place would not give it up for any other. The youngsters are complete party animals thats if you meet them as most of them are out of the country. Best time to be there would be DEC .... its this time of the year that you would find most of them in the society. Have a good day people. JS Gang rules.

It,s gr8 to be here. I used to live in # 19 on the 4th floor above Dr. Chandrani. It's been almost 15 yrs since I left but the old memories have not faded. I still remember how the entire society enjoyed Garba and Ganesh Utsav. Most of the names in this site are familiar but there are a few new names like Lipika & Para. But they could be just log in names-without their last names it is difficult to figure out who they are. Anyway, it is nice meeting you guys (on line). I miss JS and at times use Google to view JS and surrounding areas. Bye.

I guess most don't remember me since I was older and left for the US in '90. But I not sure if I miss Juhu Sameep ......it has been so long....perhaps I was unhappy. Forget the past, live the present and dream the future. Sounds like a cliche. Life does not dish out to you what you want. But it was nice when I was there - 1/7 Juhu Sameep. Over time we move on to new places, people and things. But in all I do miss the place. Could not find anyone I knew in the 80's. jaipawar@gmail.com. -- Jai/Rocky

I remember you Rocky and your bro Chotu...Guys its nice to see these comments here. I think it was a privilege growing up in JS for a lot of reasons, lot of space in the society to play and the number of people I grew up with. It was not a small gang hehehe ... also the enthusiasm of the people to organize plays and sporting events during the festivals and national holidays (cant thank u'll enough Hita & Kapoor fly)childhood memories of the bldg are that of a barbed wire fence and beyond that I could see the beach, wonderful breeze yr round, I even remember seeing snakes in and around the bldg. and a lot of birds. Rocky I remember your gang dissecting a frog for a science class alive and then burying it outside bldg # 1. I know now most of this is not around but these memories will be with me forever. Growing up days and the support from the bldg friends during bad times will always be remembered. Miss playing football in the rain & muck ....rain man I really miss bombay rain...going cycling playing cricket, marbles, flying kites, enimax, chor police...watching jonny sako and his flying robot hehehehe...I could go on. miss the gang. Take Care people.
