  • Hi, Lord Shiva temple is very famous in our village. People comes from near by villages and even from Virudhunagar and aruppukottai to get Darshna of god during 'Pirathosam'.

  • I lived in Vadakku Patti during 1961-63 when I worked as Science Assistant in the then Board High School. I would like to know about my students who would be above 60 years by now. Some of the names I could recollect even after about 50 years are: Subramanian, Arasappan, Nachiappan, Sunderarajan, Varadharajan(?), Abdul Latiff, Abdul Shakoor, Baluchamy, Manikkam, Mohan Srinivasan, Akilandam, etc. I lived in the northern end of Vadakku Patti, near Sankarappan's residenc.
