Park Jr. High was established in 1976 after school district 102 purchased the old building from the catholic high school, Nazareth Academy which moved west down Ogden Avenue. Up until the late 1990's it still said Nazareth Acedemy on the old main enterance off of Park Rd.

On the contrary! Very rarely are there students with some form of a transmitted disease, if ever, at Park Junior High School.
